Title: Assistant Manager of Design Engineering
Description: Plan, direct, and coordinate structural design engineering activities; oversee construction of metal buildings; review contract documents and approve engineering plans and scheduling; direct and supervise detailed design developments, specifications, and cost estimates for various structural/civil projects and provide project; and train and evaluate engineers.
Education: Master's degree in Civil Engineering plus at least 1 year of experience as design engineer.

Title: Design Engineer
Description: Design Engineer for design and analysis of metal building structures; review and edit metal building drawings; participate in engineering projects involving fabrication, operation, and installation of retrofit metal building components. Analyze design proposals, specifications, and manuals to determine project feasibility.
Education: Requires a B.S. in civil or structural engineering and experience in metal building design.

Title: Design Estimator
Description: Interprets technical input for structures of a wide range of complexity and is able to design and accurately estimate complex jobs. Has a working knowledge of building codes and load requirements. Organize and document estimates for in-house review and for presentation to the customer. Demonstrates a team attitude. Maintains a positive “Can Do” attitude.
Education: Associates or Bachelors degree desirable, but not required. Experience in structural steel or related field.

Title: Structural Design Engineer
Description: Design and oversee construction and maintenance of commercial or
industrial metal buildings; work on contract documents and construction engineering
software.
Education: Requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering and 1 year experience

Title: CAD Drafters
Description: Provides computer generated erection drawings, shop drawings, and bills of material compatible to each building. Operates Computer Aided Design (CAD) computer system, including creating, updating, and modifying maps, and performs manual drafting.
Education: Associate's degree or completion of a technical trade school in CAD, drafting or related field, plus at least three years of related work experience; or any equivalent combination of experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.

Title: Customer Service Coordinators
Description: This position is the major contact with assigned builders and is responsible for the receipt of an order and its completeness, pricing, required documentation, scheduling through engineering, fabrication, shipping and resolution of problems arising during construction.
Education: High School diploma or equivalent. Two-year technical degree.
Location: American Buildings Company, all locations.
