Pisani Construction is a fairly new addition to the American Buildings Company family. Having been in the pre-engineered building business for over 20 years with a competitor, it was an eye opening experience to learn how much more advanced the ABC TALON Program was over the competition. The level of service I have experienced at American Buildings Company, from our district manager through the Customer Service representative has far exceeded my expectations. The level of quality that I have witnessed in the American Buildings Company product is in my opinion the best in the industry. I am proud to have the American logo next to Pisani's.
Just when we think the TALON software cannot get any better, ABC issues an update to make it even better. Having prior experience with other manufacturers, in our opinion ABC is setting the example and is soaring far above the rest. Right from the beginning at the TALON software training, to pricing, to shop drawings, to building delivery, and even right down to the district managers, all of ABC strives to deliver a product that is far above your expectations, and is always looking for ways to make their Builders' more competitive in today's marketplace. Craft Building Services has been an authorized builder of American Buildings Company for almost one year now. As I look back on my reasons for joining American's team as a partner in distributing pre-engineered buildings in the central Illinois area, I find my choice still to be the best for my company.
The ability to offer a quality locally manufactured product with a national presence in their industry is vital to my business. Our core services are designed to provide a seamless path from concept to move-in for our clients. American provides a "marketable" product in our sales presentations from the use of the TALON software generating preliminary drawings and 3-D fly thru for visualization by the client to a quality product including items such as standard Kynar finish on the siding.
I have over twenty years experience in this market and have had dealings with many of American's competitors and ten years experience working with another American Builder. As I researched about five different companies interested in me joining their network, the following items kept me looking to American:
- Local engineering office provides for face to face contact
- Local manufacturing plant provides for ease of delivery, especially with call backs, add-ons and future maintenance
- Prior to signing up, I had some
questions and suggestions for Bob Ammerman (President). I
placed a call to him, which was promptly returned when he
returned to the office. I do not think this happens at many
"national" companies.
- Length of service time for American
by key local personnel. My District Manager and Regional
Vice President are among many with decades of local
employment at the El Paso plant. This type of experience and
knowledge is hard to find.
- The TALON program is, in my mind,
one of the most crucial elements for being an American
Builder. The ability to produce your own design/estimate
projects is important in finding the best way to "build the
box" and the integrated CAD and fly thru renderings put the
icing on the cake during presentations.
- Problem solution-my experience is no company or individual is perfect; however, I have always judged a company and individuals not by how they perform in good times, but by their performance when problems or mistakes arise. My experience has been that American will diligently work to resolve a problem, regardless of whose responsibility.
Almost a year later, the above characteristics still apply. I value our business relationship and the support I have received from the employees of American in our first year of business. I look forward to the future as Craft Building Services in partnership with American Buildings Company works to attain our goal of becoming the pre-engineered supplier of choice in central Illinois.
Miles Brothers Construction has been in partnership with American Buildings Company for the past fifteen years. It has been a very enjoyable experience working with an excellent support team. American personnel are always responsive to requests and very helpful in solving any questions or problems that may arise during the course of a project, from the estimate through design through erection. The relationship between American and their builders has continued to grow and improve over the years.
