eQuote Tips: Applying User Default Settings
With eQuote’s default settings feature, you can now streamline your workflow by pre-setting values for commonly used fields when creating new projects. This means less repetitive input and fewer clicks—allowing you to move from quote to project faster and more efficiently. If you have consistent preferences across jobs, this feature is designed to help you save time and maintain consistency with every project you start.
To get started, in the top right corner of eQuote, click on the “Manage” dropdown and select “My Settings”.
Here you can set your user defaults.
Click into the field you wish to update under the “User Default” column.
Enter the default and click the “Save” button. The Effective Value will now appear highlighted in blue, indicating that it was updated by you.
To restore the system default, select the row by clicking the default under the “User Default” and then clicking the button “Restore Selected to System Default”.
