eQuote Updates: November

The following eQuote items are included in the November 12, 2025 release.

This update brings big improvements to our user preferences, user experience improvements to our project manager page, insulation options, roof snow calculations, and several fixed bugs and other smaller enhancements to eQuote.

User Settings

  • You can now control whether you want insulation to be provided by the seller or not within your user settings by following this path:

Insulation Options

  • Added new R-32 Sag-N-Bag insulation option with 4” and 6” thicknesses, compatible with multiple panel types and API integration. Enhances thermal performance choices in eQuote.
  • Updated R-value mapping logic for R-38 single layer faced insulation to align with Silvercote’s pricing rules. Ensures accurate pricing and cutlist generation in eQuote.

Roof Snow Load Calculation

  • Improved snow load calculation logic in eQuote to correctly apply Ct values from the NBG Design Standard based on selected building code. Ensures proposal values match calculated results and supports dynamic Ct selection.

Project Manager Improvements

  • Added a year-based search option to simplify retrieving data from previous years. Selecting a year now automatically searches for any project within that entire year, streamlining historical searches.

Miscellaneous Improvements

Several additional bug fixes and internal process improvements including:

  • Proposal Color List is now correct
  • Insulation Freight is included in the correct cost bucket.
  • Transfer to Detailing workflow has been corrected
  • Builder Summary report changes to make it be more consistent in appearance
