Brewery Warehouse with Lean-To Wrap Around Porches

This construction project for Bonesaw Brewing Co. consisted of 4 custom engineered metal buildings. The main building is the brewery warehouse & taproom which is a 80’ x 175’ gable symmetrical structure with a mezzanine. There are two lean-to wrap around porches and an entrance canopy. The main building includes over twenty framed openings for doors, windows, fans, and louvers as well as a chimney. The windows were meticulously located for symmetrical aesthetics and the overhead doors were double jammed to make clear height under the mezzanine.

In order to eliminate an extra column on lean-to porch, the right endwall of the front lean-to is load bearing on the entrance canopy. The roof line of the wrap around porch was also challenging; the hips and valleys came together at 6:12” slope with 24” standing seams panels. In addition the walls of the porches and canopy were opened with soffit running the underside of roof slope and then flat at 12’-0 above finished floor.
