Miller Sunset Pavilion
Steel Pavilion Building with Clerestory
The Miller Sunset Pavilion is a 21,600 sf recreational facility that serves as an ice skating rink and outdoor pavilion to host receptions, farmers markets, pickleball tournaments, and other events.
A 4,000 sf clerestory adds dimension, and the windows at the front facade and second tier cast ample daylight throughout. It is fully lined and features twelve dormers, pickleball courts, a concession stand, and a maintenance building. The interior of this building is clearspan.
The design is reminiscent of the historic Billy Sunday Tabernacle, which stood on this ground from 1920-1992. The shape, style, colors, and building materials selected were to resemble the original structure.
