American Buildings manufactures each building with at least 70% recycled steel. When the building reaches the end of its life, you can recycle 100% of it into new steel products such as cars, appliances, buildings, and bridges.
American Buildings became the first metal building manufacturer in North America to adopt 100% cool paint systems as the standard for all roof and wall panels—without any extra charge. The U.S. military originally developed this environmentally friendly cool technology for stealth aircraft. These coatings lower environmental temperatures, reduce smog, and minimize the heat island effect. They also cut cooling costs during hot summer months.
Building Information Modeling (BIM)
Our buildings are detailed using BIM 3D as a standard practice at no additional cost. Providing customers with a modeling system that can display an exact replica of their building leads to confidence and peace of mind for the life cycle of the project.
