Training & Rehearsal Studio with Multi-Level Mezzanines

The Pod 1A Education Center is a 29,000 sf facility located on the Rock Lititz campus, purpose-built for advanced training and education in the live event industry. It was added to an existing American structure and separated by a masonry firewall.

Inside, the center features a large rehearsal studio and multiple tenant spaces. Three levels of usable space are created through mezzanines, and the structure is engineered to support professional-grade rigging systems with ceiling-mounted grids designed for heavy hoists and chain loads. Acoustic performance was a key design focus, with materials and construction methods selected to minimize sound transmission, noise, and vibration.

The exterior showcases American’s Reverse R-Panel in custom black and a Galvalume SS360 standing seam roof. A bold entrance with glass curtain walls, rustic wood accents, and bright yellow trim reflects the creative energy of the campus.
